She is honored to serve in the Pembroke Budget Committee and she’s committed to continue to serve her community in any way she can!

Mariana has a background in the Hospitality, Travel, & Tourism Industry in San Diego, CA. When she moved to New Hampshire, she started her own business as an Interpreter/Translator, providing one-on-one aid to native Spanish speakers for their medical and legal needs in NH, VT, and MA. During this time, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from SNHU.

As her career in her new home State was taking off, she suffered a stroke (Dural Venous Sinus Thrombosis) and everything had to start all over. From learning how to walk again, to now working as a Director of Operations (U.S.) for a family owned and operated business.

She is married to Vivian Beer, and award winning artist and designer. Together they care for their pineapple conure parrot, Carmen BananaPants, their pet peking duck with a curious name, Extension Cords and a myriad of plants at different stages of life. They have been homeowners in Pembroke NH since 2017.

In her spare time, Mariana runs a Dungeons & Dragons campaign for young adventurers at Pembroke Town Library and pop-up games with her friends. She enjoys crafting, painting, and hanging out at home because there’s always something to fix!
